Kurt is a London based Australian who was born in South Africa. A seasoned international performer, Kurt’s theatrical credits in the West End include Bernstein’s Mass Concert, Tenor Soloist (Royal Festival Hall), Wirework (Tristan Bates), Guys and Dolls (The Royal Exchange), Miss Saigon (Prince Edward), Exposure (St James), The Lion King (Lyceum), Elegies (Criterion), Ragtime (Regents Park), Sweet Bird of Youth (Chichester and The Old Vic), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Regents Park), The Love Girl and The Innocent (Southwark Playhouse), Hair, The 12 Tenors and Rock Around the Clock (UK and European tours), and the Panto Robinson Crusoe. In workshop Kurt’s credits include Sherlock Holmes - The Musical, Mulan and The Last of the Mohicans.
Kurt trained at Monash University and The Melba Conservatorium. His Australian credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair (The Production Company), The Lion King, Rent, Naked Boys Singing, I do! In Caroline Springs, The Grand Hotel, Godspell and Show Boat (directed by Hal Prince). Kurt is co-creating new theatre in London with his company Kansley & Lidert. They had a successful, sell out run of The Songs I’ll Never Sing (St James) and have more original productions currently in creation.
