Paul Whiteley

Paul Whiteley graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006. He recently featured in the 60th Anniversary production of My Fair Lady directed by Hollywood and Broadway legend Dame Julie Andrews. From 2012-16, Paul covered the role of the Phantom in the 25th anniversary world tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Previously he has toured Australia and Asia performing in the musicals Billy Elliot, Jersey Boys and Jekyll & Hyde. Paul’s opera credits include The Merry Widow, Götterdämmerung, Nostradamus and Batavia for West Australian Opera. He started his career in Adelaide rock bands as a drummer, then frontman, then lead singer in the award-winning a cappella group Red Pepper. In recent years he has added artistic director to his varied talents most notably directing Into The Woods at Mahidol University, Bangkok.
